Perhaps you thought it might be difficult to make money online without any type of product, service, or website of your own.  For the most part you would be right.  It is difficult, but there are ways of accomplishing such a task.  

Promote Products as an Affiliate

This is what is known as affiliate marketing, and many people make tons of money online through this means.  It would be nice to have your own website in order to do this, but it isn't neccessary.  You could simply start up a WordPress blog and promote products from there, or you could write articles for companies that need them and use the signature box to promote products as well.  

Help Others Find Jobs

There are several companies online, like Bohire, that may pay you $50 or more for referring a job candidate who gets hired.  You would basically be a recruiter helping others find better work.  If you don't have a website, you could use the same methods described above to earn your commissions.  

Write Articles for Others

The internet is constantly swarming with people who are searching for information.  There is always a demand for fresh quality content online.  There are several ways to cash in on this opportunity:  

• Find companies that will pay you for hits that your articles receive
• Find entrepreneurs that need a ghostwriter
• Find bloggers that need guest writers
• Search through forums and other places where people may be looking for writers

Help Merchants Find Buyers

This is similar to affiliate marketing, but without being an affiliate of anything.  Sites like, uRefer, will pay you a specified amount for helping them get connected with a buyer.  They list what they are offering, and if you refer someone who completes the transaction, you get the specified commission.  

Sell Your Pics and Videos

Some companies will actually pay you for certain types of videos and photography.  If you are really into that sort of thing, you could make your living off of it. Fotolia, iStockphoto, and Shutterstock are a few sites that may help you get started.  

These are just a few of the ways that you can actually make money online without spending any in the process.  You could also search various online job boards for work, however, you will still need a resume, a cover letter, and you may only earn up to $10 an hour depending on the type of work.   However, if you are interested in making money fast, and becoming financially free by working from home, then you will most likely need to invest more than just time at some point or other.
