Aeroturbines are double helix wind turbines that have several advantages over traditional windmills.  

Aeroturbines can harness the power of multidirectional and gusting winds.  

They are safer for birds.  

They start up with wind speeds of 6mph and do not require a continuous wind supply.  

They will work in snowy areas.

They are self regulatory and require little maintenance.  

They create much less noise pollution than windmills.  

They can be installed vertically, horizontally, and on top of buildings.  

They can be incorporated with solar photovoltaic systems.  

These aeroturbines are designed in such a way that they can be used on top of new or pre-existing buildings.  As long as they are placed 40 feet above the ground and are clear of trees and other blockages, the aeroturbines will be much more efficient than traditional windmills.  

With aeroturbines being more efficient than the traditional, and able to operate in urban and non-urban areas, our economy should be able to use the many advantages of aeroturbines in order to harness more wind power, which is just one way to provide clean renewable energy while helping the environment.
