For all of you lone bloggers out there trying to earn a decent income from home, and I don't exclude myself, there's one more reason that makes your dream, and your goals possible.  A one man WordPress blog was just sold for $15 million!  That's some payout.  

The blog titled, Bankaholic, was started about two years ago by Johns Wu, and back then it was just a newbie WordPress blog.  Now, it has become an authority in the banking industry, which is why Bank Rate bought out the blog for $15 million.  

Social communities are spreading over the internet like wild fire these days, and that may be one of the reasons why Bank Rate purchased Bankaholic for so much money.  A blog is an excellent way to interact with your readers, or a community.  

The Bankaholic blog has also been established by certain keywords now that might not have been so popular two years ago.  Bankaholic is just one of those keywords that is extremely popular these days.  Bankaholic is now an authority blog, which has attracted all kinds of visitors over the years, and Johns Wu got it there simply by setting up a WordPress blog.

 

Make no mistake, blogging is work, and for Johns Wu, he spent two years building this blog in the banking niche by himself, but the result was a huge payout that he probably never expected.  

For bloggers like you and me, this is definitely an inspiring story, and with hard work and commitment we too shall reap the rewards of our daily blogging.  It's important to stay committed, to post relevant content on a daily basis, to target your keywords, and to interact with your readers.  Johns Wu was obviously successful doing those things, and we can be also.

As far as Johns Wu is concerned, he will continue to work on the Bankaholic blog because that is what he loves to do.  Nice work Johns!
