Did you know that you can get banned from social sites? It's true! Submit too many of your own links to most social sites, and you could get banned, or blocked from submitting your stuff. The only acceptions right now are; Mixx, Facebook, Shoutlife, and other sites like Myspace. Where then do we get content from? We simply submit posts from other blogs with our own posts. A ratio of nine outside blog posts, and one of your own would be good. Bloglines is a great place to get this info. Subscribe to as many blogs in Bloglines as you want, and when you log in there will be a list to the left of all the recent posts in all of the blogs you have chosen. When you, or anyone else submits an article to any social site, be the first to review it. Make sure you are adding interesting, relevant, or even controversial reviews. If not, you're probably just wasting your time. By tagging your reviews, you will drive more traffic to your site. *This is an overlook by most using SMM When tagging, use relevant, short keywords. In StumbleUpon, if you do this the right way, your picture would show up next to some of these keywords if you become a top stumbler. Doing this with enough related keywords, will bring you into a nice niche area. Review other articles in the social sites, and vote for them. Remember, be relevant. You can be controversial, but there is no need to get outta control. By doing these things you are creating real traffic, and you shall see your share of it as well. Join me in SMM here!
